A2 Maths Group Online Course:

Duration: 10 weeks

Starting Date: 5th August

Price: £290.00

Submission Deadline: 30th July

This 10-week group online course is developed to enable A2 students to reach mathematical excellence. The objective of the course is two folds.

The first goal is to cover key materials that year 13 students in general find challenging (e.g. Trigonometric Identities and Integrals). Based on these materials, we will ensure that 100 exam questions that are diverse and demanding will be solved together. The second goal is to develop robust and interdisciplinary understanding of mathematics; applying what we learn to other disciplines and University Admission Exams.

Hence our objective is for students to succeed in their exam, and importantly, to have a meaningful learning experience that will carry them forward into the future.

The students will be provided weekly, with numerous resources and opportunities for academic support. Lecture videos and accompanying question & solution sheets will be provided.  Students will then be given plethora of support through Problem Classes, Office Hours and Classroom Community.

Course Structure:

The course will start on Saturday 5th August and run weekly for 10 weeks. The problem class and the office hour are from 10:00am - 12:15pm

Resources & Support

Duration: 10 weeks

Starting Date: Saturday 1st October

Price: £290.00

Submission Deadline: 30th July

Problem Class: The tutor and the students will go through chosen questions from the problem sets. We will use Zoom and the recording will be provided.

Office Hour: Let’s say that a student still has a question even after the Problem Class. Perhaps there was a small algebra step they didn’t understand during the class, or they are still confused about some mathematical concept. The student can ask such questions in depth during the office hour. We will use Zoom for this as well.

Classroom Community: The tutor and the students will be connected through an online platform called Slack. Announcements, discussions and importantly math memes can be posted here.

Weekly Resource & Support:

  • Online Lecture Video

  • Problem Sets, Hint & Solution

  • Problem Class (1hr 15min)

  • Office Hour (1hr)

  • Classroom Community

Asked Questions:

When will the course start?

It will start on Saturday 5th August (10:00am - 12:15pm).

The submission deadline will be on Saturday 30th July.

Which exam board?

The materials we will cover are universal and hence all exam boards are welcome.

What is Problem Class?

It is where tutors and students will discuss the questions from the problem sheets. The Office Hour is where students can ask any further questions they have. Both the Problem Class and the Office Hour will be recorded through Zoom.

What will I need before the class?

You will need to download Zoom and Slack. It is recommended to have a working microphone and camera so that we can work together eye to eye.
